RF Engineer

Tasked with managing in-building wireless projects from sales all the way to project closure including surveying, designing, proposing, managing and commissioning projects. Applicant possesses the in-building wireless knowledge base to determine the most cost effective technology for any given application, designs the systems, and successfully generates large project revenues for the company. He/she will apply their basic understanding of RF theory to design and commission complex neutral host and public safety DAS systems.

Job Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Preferred
  • Familiarity in designing of multi-sector, neutral host DAS using most major DAS OEMs such as Corning, Commscope, TE, SOLiD, ADRF, JMA/TEKO, etc.
  • Familiarity in commissioning of multi-sector, neutral host DAS using most major DAS OEMs such as Corning, Commscope, TE, SOLiD, ADRF, JMA/TEKO, etc.
  • Familiarity in Link Budgets for multiple technologies/frequencies
  • Familiarity of iBwave software
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Software (Particularly MS Excel)
  • Familiarity of DAS commissioning, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity in common DAS Equipment including Coaxial Cable, Antennas, Splitters, Fiber Cable, etc.
  • Familiarity in Public Safety/Trunking/1-2 Way radio communications
  • Familiarity in managing budgets

Project Manager

Tasked with managing in-building wireless projects from sales from purchase order receipt to close-out package. The project manager will work closely with design engineers, field supervisor, project foremen, and our customers to deliver projects consistently on time, under budget, with zero defects.

Job Education and/or Experience:

  • 4 year college degree and Project Management Certification (PMP or LEED) is preferred.
  • 5 years of prior related project management experience is required.
  • Successful management of construction, low voltage, or distributed antenna system (preferred) projects specifically responsible for budget, schedule, and communications management.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office software (Particularly MS Excel and MS Project)

Certifications:

  • PMI, LEED, or other professional project management certification is STRONGLY DESIRED.

Construction Manager

Tasked with directly managing large-scale projects and act as Connectivity’s point of contact for the assigned project. Management includes budget oversight, technicians or IBP direction, SLA and other project direct project requirements. Construction Managers will serve as the subject matter expert associated with the assigned client processes and procedures requirements. (Example: AT&T, American Tower, etc.) Assist Project Manager in technically qualifying contractors or IBPs. Assist in the planning and obtaining information needed for proposals, materials requirements, permits, etc.

Job Education and/or Experience:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Five to Eight years experience leading low-voltage installations in a large construction environment.
  • Skills/Specialties include Blueprints and Contractor Management.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand project financials, manage technical manpower, coordinate travel, and is familiar with technical equipment.
  • Preferred RF experience

Certificates, Licences and Registrations:

  • An active low voltage license from at least one US State is required.
  • Certifications include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)-30 Hour Certification.
