VAR Advisory Council, World Class Sales Tools and MobileAccess Online University are Hallmarks of Expanded Go-to-Market Program Excellence
VIENNA, VA–(Marketwire – February 9, 2010) – MobileAccess, a global provider of enterprise wireless solutions, today announced a series of initiatives to further the success of its VAR strategy for delivering its distributed antenna system (DAS) solutions to the growing in-building wireless market. Underscoring its commitment to building and supporting VAR partnerships, MobileAccess has launched the VAR Advisory Council, MobileAccess Online University and a new set of world class sales tools, making it easier for VARs to sell and manage a complete solution set around the MobileAccess 1000, 2000 and VE product lines.
“MobileAccess is leveraging its partner channel and aligning its VAR programs to better meet the needs of end-user in-building wireless customers,” said Greg Jacobs, chief executive officer of Connectivity Wireless. “The programs and tools being rolled out will allow us to collaborate more closely for the benefit of our carrier, hospital, healthcare and education customers.”
About the MobileAccess Partner Program
The MobileAccess partner program currently includes 23 VARs and a host of system integrators, OEMs and wireless consultants. These partners have enabled hundreds of organizations across industries such as healthcare, hospitality, higher education and public sectors to leverage the power of MobileAccess’ in-building wireless infrastructure. MobileAccess partners have already been successful due to initiatives such as joint account management, industry leading training and pre-sales assistance, such as radio frequency (RF) design support.
“We count on our partners’ RF design and industry expertise to sell, design and deploy complete solutions,” said Darlene Braunshweig, SVP of Sales, MobileAccess. “Our VARs’ invaluable knowledge, combined with MobileAccess’ unique product architecture, has enabled us to provide single- and multi-carrier solutions to enterprises of all sizes, while giving customers the confidence of knowing that their in-building wireless needs will be met today and tomorrow.”
With today’s announcement, MobileAccess’ VAR support now includes:
VAR Advisory Council — The VAR council offers an annual forum to discuss market requirements, MobileAccess roadmaps and go-to-market strategy. Council members benefit from annual surveys to gather critical feedback, quarterly newsletters, product webinars, sales tools and regular account planning with channel directors.
Partner Portal — The VAR-branded, customizable Partner Portal delivers access to MobileAccess’ collection of online world-class sales tools, such as marketing collateral, case studies, sales presentations, training documents and multimedia tools to enable VARs to better represent MobileAccess products and services. Additionally, the portal will soon include the latest version of MobileAccess’ Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) solution, a sophisticated quotation tool that includes a complete set of variables from facility size and layout to RF sources and wireless services supported, and the Solution Selector, an online lead qualifier which helps partners determine which MobileAccess solution best fits a customer’s facility needs.
MobileAccess Online University — Building on MobileAccess’ industry-leading, classroom-based training programs — which offermulti-day training on system commissioning, installation, RF design and site surveys — the online adjunct to MobileAccess University provides VARs with a new way to supplement live training in order to save expenses and eliminate taking key personnel out of the field. Available in the second quarter of 2010, MobileAccess Online University leverages a proven learning management system (LMS) and test-through element to offer VARs the option of a physical or online venue for product training, refresher courses and re-certifications.
“MobileAccess continues to expand the partner program, which has enabled us to keep our personnel in the field, either working on new opportunities or servicing existing deployments,” said Kelley Carr, President, Custom Solutions Group, Cellular Specialties, Inc. “With additions to the program like the MobileAccess Online University, we look forward to being able to have our current staff refresh on the system commissioning and RF design, as well as easing the learning curve for new hires as we grow the business.”
